This area of New Brunswick boasts some
of the best fishing and hunting in the province and is home
to the “World Pond Hockey Tournament”, “Fiddlers
on the Tobique”, and the annual “Homecoming” held in
August of each year. The new Tobique Plex sports facility,
only 5 minutes away, offers events and hockey tournaments
in the winter, a year round fitness center, as well as, a
heated outdoor pool and tennis courts for summer use.
Within one hour
drive of the Tobique Suites, you and your family can enjoy
the Beautiful Grand Falls Gorge, Mount Carleton Provincial
Park, The Longest Covered Bridge in the World at Hartland,
NB, golfing at one of five golf courses ( The Plaster
Rock Golf Club, Aroostock Valley Golf Club,
Hartland Covered Bridge Golf Club, Grand Falls Golf Club and
the Edmunston Golf Club). Skiing at, Mount Farlange Ski
Hill in Edmunston, NB or Big Rock Ski Hill in Mars Hill
Maine, USA. Or you may want to go Tubing(sliding) at
the New Denmark Sliding Hill.
